Description General Care: A native plant to the Philippines, Nepenthes alata is known for its colorful leaves and large pitchers. It is a beautiful carnivorous plant and also happens to be one of the easiest to grow. We advise a temperature range of 65-80F, high humidity, and a loose sphagnum moss, low nutrient soil mix for best results. This plant will take small insects as a food source in the pitchers. Size of the plant: 12″H x 18″W Maximum Size Lighting requirements: Intermediate to high intensity full spectrum, high PAR LED’s recommended. You will need to acclimate to higher PAR levels to bring out red coloration. Water requirements: 70-80% Humidity preferred.
